The design process involved creating various prototypes and gathering feedback from potential customers. Zoku's concept offers hybrid home-office accommodations, featuring loft-style rooms and shared social and co-working spaces. The 133 lofts include an elevated, screened-off sleeping area, a kitchen, a private bathroom, and an open-plan living and working space. The larger lofts are even equipped with fitness gear. We provided room furnishings and fitouts for the 133 rooms in their inaugural Amsterdam hotel, which opened in 2016. The clever design optimises space; for example, the staircase to the sleeping area can be retracted into the wall to maximise living space and provide access to integrated storage. ##### View more projects...
