Karls opened its first "Karls-Bande Hotel" in Döbeln, Saxony, on June 1st, 2025. The themed hotel is designed around the adventures of "Karls-Bande", characters from the company's animated films and audio plays. It features 60 elaboratively themed family rooms, including two accessible rooms, and can accommodate up to five people per room.
VBC worked collaboratively with the client’s design team to realise the unique, custom-made, creative vision with much of the furniture manufactured in-house by Polcom Furniture by VBC and the installed using our experienced in-house team.
From contract signing in mid-September 24 to first guests checking in on the 1st June 25 VBC finalised the design, sourced all materials, built a mock-up room, manufactured and installed the modules, completed the zip up works and installed all the furniture.

For this project, all modules were constructed and shipped from our Chojnice Facility in Poland.
