Spanning an entire city block, 510 N. Broad is VBC’s largest Multi-Family development and the largest modular apartment on the East Coast. It offers a variety of modern features with a sleek design, an in-building retail grocery store, and a roof-top community space. Working with Alterra Property Group, VBC designed this complex to house a large range of studio, junior one-bedroom, traditional one-bedroom, two-bedroom units, and ample amenity spaces. By using modular construction and VBC’s ability to turn out modular units quickly, the 510 N. Broad project saved 22 months of construction time compared to traditional construction.

This build is in the heart of downtown Philadelphia on one of the busiest traffic corridors in the city. Modules were delivered to the off-site storage lot several months before installation began. Due to the considerable size of the project, more than one off-site storage location was chosen. The set took approximately 55 days, with a module being set roughly every 45 minutes.
